An Oktibbeha County man was jailed earlier this week on one count of rape and possession of paraphernalia after a juvenile was reported missing.
Deputies with the Oktibbeha County Sheriff's Department arrested 29-year-old Jacob Thomas Breaux on Monday following a complaint of a missing juvenile in the Longview community.
Lt. Brett Watson told the SDN the incident involved a 15-year-old girl, who was returned to her parent's custody unharmed.
Watson said she was reported as missing for roughly 12 hours before being located and returned.
Breux's relationship with the juvenile has not been made public at this time.
Breaux was arraigned in Oktibbeha County Justice Court and denied bond.
The OCSD said the investigation is ongoing at this time
