The Mississippi Hospital Association has appointed OCH Regional Medical Center CEO and Administrator Richard G. Hilton to serve on the Board of Governors as the Prairie Council Representative through June 2020.
The appointment represents Hilton’s second time to be named to the board.
Hilton previously served as the Chief Financial Officer/Associate Administrator at OCH from March 1983 to February 2012, before being named to his current role.
Hilton currently serves on several MHA committees, including the retirement oversite, political action, and Medicaid advisory committees. He has also been involved in the Prairie Hospital Council, MHA Quarter Century Executive Forum, and currently serves on the Board for the North Mississippi Trauma System as the treasurer and for Vizient Gulf States Region.
Hilton holds a B.S. in business administration from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, and an M.S. in hospital and health administration from the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
