Monday arrests
The Starkville Police Department arrested a man Monday on multiple charges following an incident at an apartment on Garrard Road.
Brandon Burchfield, 29, of Starkville was charged with residential burglary, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstruction of justice and disorderly conduct.
He was arrested in an apartment on Garrard Road, SPD confirmed.
Burchfield was transported to the Oktibbeha County Jail, and will appear in Municipal Court at 6 p.m. Aug. 29.
The department arrested Ebonee Hinton, 26, of Starkville Monday on domestic violence and aggravated assault, according to SPD.
Hinton was transported to the Oktibbeha County Jail with a bond of $10,000, she will appear in Municipal Court at 6 p.m. Aug. 29.
A male victim was struck with a glass bottle, according to SPD Public Information Officer Brandon Lovelady.
"The suspect attempted to do more serious bodily injury to him," Lovelady wrote in an email.
Tuesday arrests
Officers arrested two Starkville teens Tuesday in connection to auto burglaries at Wildwood Estates, 1384 Louisville St., according to SPD.
Tykell Harvey, 18, of Starkville and Joshua Johnson, 18, of Eupora were each charged with one count of auto burglary.
Four other juveniles were charged with one count of auto burglary each at the time of the arrests on Tuesday.
Both Harvey and Johnson were transported to the Oktibbeha County Jail with a bond of $5,000 each. The pair will appear in Municipal Court at 6 p.m. Aug. 29. The juveniles were processed and released, SPD confirmed.
