Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Starkville woman for attempted armed robbery in front of Oktibbeha County Jail Friday morning.
According to Investigator Lt. Brett Watson, 28-year-old Portia Cierra Manning is currently facing charges of attempted armed robbery, possession of a controlled substance and disorderly conduct.
There were no reported injuries.
The Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the case.
“We are interviewing victims and witnesses at this time,” Watson said. “More charges may be coming.”
