Mugshots Bar and Grill closes downtown location with all-night party

Mugshots Bar and Grill on Main Street celebrated the closing of its downtown location with an all night "Last Call Party" Saturday night.

Saturday was the last night the downtown Mugshots location will be open.

Mugshots General Manager John Padgett said the eatery's new location will open in July in the 550 Russell development on Russell Street next to The Mill.

Padgett said the party featured live music from "Good Paper" Rob Mortimer and his band, along with the kitchen staying open as long as food supplies lasted.

"We really want everyonejust to come up and enjoy the building one last time," Padgett said.

Mugshots’ downtown location has been in business for 14 years.

"This building has been a blessing to the growth of our brand and to us as individuals," Mugshots co-owner Trey Gamble said. "We all have so many great memories within these wallsm and we want to embrace the sense of nostalgia it brings to so many. Our fans have been the greatest support over the years."

Mugshots Bar and Grill also has 17 other locations throughout Mississippi, Louisiana and Alabama.
