After two arrests and a series of search warrants, Oktibbeha County deputies seized over 80 firearms and stolen items.
Last Thursday, deputies arrested 18-year-old Marquez Williams, of Starkville, on two counts of burglary of a residence and possession of marijuana.
During the investigation, deputies executed a series of search warrants at a business and residence, which resulted in the seizure of the firearms and other stolen items.
The result of the seizures led to the arrest of 37-year-old Joseph Bell, of Starkville, on charges of receiving stolen property.
According to the press release issued by the Oktibbeha County Sheriff's Department, the arrest took place in the 300 block of Indian Pointe Drive.
Williams's bond was set at $10,458. He was arraigned in Oktibbeha County Justice Court and has since been released on bond from the Oktibbeha County Jail.
Bell's bond was set at $10,000. He was also arraigned and has been released.
According to the press release, more arrests are expected to be made as the investigation into this case moves forward.
