After a short search, Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Starkville man accused of aggravated domestic violence.
Deputies arrested 32-year-old Sean Michael Sanders at a hotel in Winston County for warrants issued by Oktibbeha County Justice Court for aggravated domestic violence and possession of a weapon by a felon.
Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Lt. Brett Watson said Sanders was threatening the victim and used “sufficient force” to warrant a charge.
Watson said deputies were able to arrest Sanders with the assistance of the Louisville Police Department.
The victim did not suffer serious injuries, but the injuries were serious enough to fall under the statute.
Sanders and the victim were in a dating relationship.
