The Choctaw County Republican Party and the Choctaw County Chamber of Commerce hosted a mayoral forum for candidates running in Ackerman's special election for mayor on Dec. 19. The event was moderated by longtime French Camp Mayor Glen Barlow and featured all four candidates running for mayor: Tim Cutts, Levon Murphy, Jr., Dale Reid and Carl Phelps.
