The Mississippi State Department of Health on Wednesday lifted boil-water alerts for areas in Oktibbeha County.
The Center Grove Water Association lifted the precautionary alert issued last week for customers to boil their drinking water, which impacted roughly 120 customers in the county.
The boil-water alert issued last week for the Town of Maben has also been lifted. Approximately 856 customers were affected by the alert.
All drinking water in both water systems is now safe to consume.
