Starkville police arrested two minors this week in connection with burglaries at Mississippi Motor Credit and the Starkville Sportsplex.
On Monday, officers arrested and charged an unidentified juvenile with three counts of grand larceny, auto and one count of commercial burglary. The arrest stems from previous incidents at Mississippi Motor Credit, according to a SPD news release.
An unidentified minor arrested on Tuesday was also charged with three counts of grand larceny, auto and one count of commercial burglary for the MMC incidents. The second juvenile arrested was handed an additional commercial burglary charge for an incident at the Sportsplex on April 30, SPD said.
The individuals were transported to a juvenile dentition facility after their arrests.
On April 26, SPD arrested another unidentified minor for the burglary of the Sportsplex.
Several cellphones and an undetermined amount of cash were taken from the incident on April 21, SPD said.
The minor arrested April 26 was previously released into the custody of his parent, a SPD news release showed.
SPD commonly does not release the identity of juveniles arrested.
