Starkville police arrested a woman Friday on a warrant of hindering prosecution, in connection with the April 22 armed robbery of McDonald's at 817 Highway 12 West, according to Brandon Lovelady, public information officer for the Starkville Police Department.
Keva Robertson was arrested on the warrant and taken to Oktibbeha County Jail; she later posted bond – set at $5,000 – and is due in Municipal Court on May 23, according to the news release.
On Monday police arrested Jawan Hooper, 24, of Starkville and charged him with robbing the McDonald's at which he worked. The robbery was reported to have occurred at 3 a.m. April 22, perpetrated by a man dressed all in red with a red bandana over his face.
Investigators determined the suspect was Hooper, who was off duty at the time, and arrested him when he showed up for work the following Monday.
Anyone with further information on the case is asked to call police at 662-323-4131 or Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at 1-800-530-7151.
