One treated for minor injuries after two-vehicle wreck in Maben

One person was treated for minor injuries after a two-vehicle wreck on Highway 15 in Maben Sunday afternoon.

Oktibbeha County Fire Services Coordinator Kirk Rosenhan told the SDN the wreck occurred when a white GMC was traveling north along Highway 15 and a pickup truck traveling south veered into the northbound lane.

The driver of the pickup was transported for evaluation to North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora with minor injuries and the driver of the white GMC was unharmed.

Officials with the Maben/District 3 Fire Department were in the process of conducting a training exercise near the crash site and responded within minutes of the incident.

The Maben Police Department is currently investigating the incident.
