SPD seeking suspect in McDonald's robbery

The Starkville Police Department is seeking a suspect in an armed robbery that was reported shortly after 3 a.m. Friday morning.
In a news release Friday afternoon, police said the suspect had fled the scene when officers arrived. The incident occurred at the McDonald’s located at 817 Highway 12 West, across from Kroger.
The suspect is believed to be a black male between 6 feet 2 inches and 6 feet 3 inches tall with a thin build. He was reported as being dressed in all red and had a red bandana on his face.
SPD said the incident is under active investigation.
