Authorities are searching for a man who disappeared about 3 p.m. Sunday.
A Silver Alert is out for Paul Powe, 73, who was last seen driving a 2004 gray Ford Taurus, Mississippi tag CKL 862, on County Road 690 in the De Soto community of Clarke County, according to Warren Strain, public affairs director for the Mississippi Department of Public Safety.
Powe is a black man about 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighting 120 pounds, with salt-and-pepper hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a blue sweatshirt, white T-shirt, navy blue pants, black boots and a maroon hat, according to the news release.
Relatives say Powe suffers from a mental condition that could impair his judgment.
