STARKVILLE, MS
A class of Mississippi State University students, led by wildlife management professor Steve Demarais, asks residents to participate in a study of the city's and surrounding area's deer population.
The survey is a major step in creating a management plan for the wildlife in the area, and a report could be heard by aldermen in November, according to MSU Graduate Assistant Ciera Rhodes.
"We want insight on what people think of the deer population in the city," Rhodes said. To view the survey, visit surveymonkey.com/r/Q7G56WV.
