STARKVILLE, MS
The boil-water notice issued Thursday for about 500 Starkville Utilities customers has been extended. It was expected to last until 5 p.m. Monday, but trouble fixing the broken water main means the warning will last until 5 p.m. Wednesday. Starkville Utilities customers served by the former Bluefield Water Association, south of Highway 182 and west of Highway 25, are asked to boil their drinking and cooking water for 2 minutes.
