Two suspects charged with multiple felonies stemming from a May 1 Cotton District assault on Maxwell Street pleaded not guilty to various charges in Oktibbeha County Circuit Court this week.
Terry Lamont Hill, 42, of West Point pleaded not guilty to six felony charges Wednesday, and his bond was set at $500,000 following his plea filings to two felony kidnapping charges, and one count each of aggravated assault, rape, robbery and sexual battery.
Hill will appear next on Oct. 11 to change his attorney, after indicating after Wednesday's arraignment he could now pay for consul.
Jerry Lee Talley, 29, of McCool pleaded not guilty to seven felony charges Thursday. He is charged with the same six as Hill, plus one additional aggravated assault charge.
