A Starkville man is facing accusations of embezzlement after turning himself in to police on a felony warrant Wednesday.

The Starkville Police Department issued the warrant for 28-year-old Quinton Hendrix for embezzlement, which occurred at the Starkville Country Club on South Montgomery Street.

After turning himself in, Hendrix was released after bond was set at $5,000.

It is unclear at this time what led to the embezzlement accusations.

Management at the Starkville Country Club declined to comment on the incident, but confirmed that Hendrix is no longer employed there.

Additionally, a Freedom of Information Act request has been filed by the Starkville Daily News for the affidavit from Hendrix’s arrest.

The initial appearance date for Hendrix in Starkville Municipal Court is not known at this time.
