A 25-year-old Columbus resident is facing two counts of child exploitation for possession of child pornography after an investigation by the state Attorney General's office.
Investigators with the AG Cybercrime division arrested Jamie Tracy at her home Wednesday.
Tracey was arrested with assistance from the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office after an investigation into her online activity.
Tracey was taken to the Lowndes County Adult Correctional Facility and it is unclear at this time if bond has been set.
If convicted on both counts, Hood's office says Tracey faces up to 80 years in prison and $1 million in fines.
The case will be prosecuted by Special Assistant Attorney General Brandon Ogburn.
