STARKVILLE, MS
Starkville police arrested a Starkville woman on felony gun and drug charges Tuesday night, according to a SPD news release.
Brashley Barnett, 36, was charged with possession of a controlled substance schedule one and two after officers allegedly found Barnett to be carrying cocaine and marijuana. Barnett was also charged with possession of a weapon by a felon, the SPD news release said.
No bond has been set. Barnett remains in custody at the Oktibbeha County Jail.
Her initial Starkville Municipal Court appearance is schedule for June 13 at 6 p.m.
