If you are looking for a creative Christmas gift and have a couple thousand dollars to spend, Mississippi State University may have what you’re looking for.
The MSU Extension is currently auctioning 11 horses, with the online auction beginning Friday and running through Sunday at 8 p.m.
The horses range in price from the cheapest, a 2004 registered thoroughbred Gray Gelding named Buddha’s Best, to the most expensive at $2,000 - a 1999 AQHA Bay Mare named Oakville Highway and a 2005 AQHA Buckskin Mare named Dancing Alaura.
All horses sold must be picked up between Nov. 27 and Dec. 1.
A $20 per diem will be charged to those not picked up by Dec. 1.
