STARKVILLE, MS
A Bellefontaine man was arrested by the Starkville Police Department on Monday for domestic violence - aggravated assault.
Officers with the SPD arrested 20-year-old William R. Johnson on Saturday morning and transported him to the Oktibbeha County Jail with bond set at $5,000.
The details of the incident are not yet known at this time, but the assault occurred early Saturday morning at an apartment complex on Old Highway 12.
Johnson's initial appearance in Starkville Municipal Court was on Monday, Oct. 2.
