Deputies with the Oktibbeha County Sheriff's Office arrested 20-year-old Louanna Cooperwood after a stabbing left one person injured on Monday.
Cooperwood was charged with aggravated assault after a verbal argument between her and a roommate became physical and one pulled a knife at the Pointe apartments. It is unclear at this time what started the altercation.
The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries at OCH Regional Medical Center.
Cooperwood was transported to the Oktibbeha County Jail with bond set at $10,000. She posted bond after her initial appearance in court and was released on Tuesday.
The incident is still under investigation.
